A politician from Eastern Province Zambia who recently lost K3 million to a group of cons in Lusaka has recovered his money.

The man was lured into a dubious deal by a woman he had his eyes on after falling prey of a scam that promised to wash wash and  multiply money.

“The woman was a longtime friend. She told me that they had a money cleaning scheme and would make each a hundred note give birth to another.” The politician told his friends.

His friends said that when the politician received the first batch, he believed the business was legit and topped up another money with the previous cash for it to be multiplied.

“The politician bumped in the millions in three batches after he was promised returns five-folds.” Another friend said.

The politician became suspicious after he took the first batch to the bank and he was told that the money could not be deposited in his bank account.

“He immediately called me and informed that he was going through some trouble. I rushed to the city to offer assistance.” He said adding that, “The politician told me that the woman who had connected him to the business had gone underground and was nowhere to be found.”

The politician who is said to have been embarrassed is reported to have employed services of a native traditional herbalist Papa Mawanda Shafiq  who he says he previously saw premiering on news bulletin for his prowess of catching unsuspecting cons.

There was drama in Senanga town, Western Province of Zambia after a yet to be identified notorious thief was arrested and brought to the police peacefully.

According to a video making rounds on social media, a man in his 30 years is seen standing at Senanga police station and is accused of stealing a motorcycle from a rider in the area.

The young man was arrested by bees after the owner sought services from a traditional herbalist known who in turn instructed bees to go find the thief and bring him to police. Police was seen confused at taking pictures of the arrested thief.
