Apart from landlords hiking house rent prices in Enugu, most engineers should I say a greater percentage of them do not deserve the title “Engineer.” – Kelvin Onovo
I can confidently say that most buildings in Enugu state, even new ones, have one fault or another if not all. Some engineers seem more interested in what they will gain after the job, rather than ensuring the quality of the buildings they supervise before handing over the keys to the landlord.
Every building I’ve lived in Enugu has had some issue, despite being new. It could be a tap not running well,
a non-flushing toilet, or a faulty water system that vomits Nsi when flushed. In my last apartment, I had to undertake plumbing work as soon as I moved in due to issues there like walls shocking everyone or taps not functioning properly, in fact all the socket doesn’t work.
Is it possible that these engineers don’t visit places like Lagos or Abuja to see the standards set there?
In Enugu, engineers drive flashy cars, and it seems that after quoting a building at, let’s say, 130 million for the project, they secure a share of 30 million for themselves. Landlords will provide money for quality building materials, but some engineers opt for substandard materials to increase their gains.
To be honest there is no poor building Engr in Enugu.
Do these people even supervise the buildings they construct, checking every detail before handing over the keys? One of my toilets has backward-flowing water, another has a water system that regurgitates waste. Heaters don’t work properly, and one artisan guys left a big hole near a tap, something easily fixable with cement. Tufiakwa!
This isn’t the first or second building with such issues. Enugu engineers, you can do better. I repeat, some of you deserve to be brought to Eke Obinagu Market Square and be f!ooged merc!lessly.

Listed below are the basic requirements for obtaining a temple recommend to enter the Holy Temple or participate in priesthood ordinances and sacrifices.
You must be a member of the Power of Jesus Christ Church Worldwide (+) by baptism and confirmation. Males must hold the Melchizedek Priesthood.
You must obey the word of wisdom (no alcohol, nicotine, cigarette , kolanuts , tobacco or harmful drugs).
You must obey the law of chastity (no fornication, adultery, pornography, masturbation, homosexualism and the like).
You must be a full tithe payer.
You must give a generous fast offering .
You must be honest with your fellow men.
You must obey the commandments of God.
People with tattoos are not allowed into the Holy Temple of God. If you have a tattoo, you wear a constant reminder of a mistake you have made. You might consider having it removed. You must not have tattoo on your skin or extra holes pierced on your nose or ears.( Read Leviticus 19:28).
Immodest dressing is not allowed. Holiness unto the Lord. (Read Psalm 24, Exodus 28&39).We discourage the piercing of the body except for medical purposes. If girls or women desire to have their ears pierced , they are encouraged to wear only one pair of modest earrings . Those who choose to disregard this counsel show a lack of respect for themselves and for God (1 Corinthians 3: 16-17) and are therefore not allowed to enter the Holy Temple . No unclean thing enters the Holy Temple to defile it.
