CHOMA RECORDS 118 BREAKING-INS, BURGLARY CASES


SOUTHERN Province Commissioner of Police, Auxensio Daka, has disclosed that Choma District has recorded 118 cases of house breaking-ins and burglary in the last six months.

Speaking during a press briefing at Choma Central Police Station Thursday morning, Daka said four individuals found in possession of several household goods believed to have been stolen, have been arrested.

He invited people who have lost property in the District to visit Choma Central Police station to identify some of the items recovered.

Daka assured that with load shedding in effect, Police will increase patrols in Choma District.

Some recovered items include a 43-inch Samsung Plasma TV, 43-inch Smart TV, 32-inch Supersonic TV, two 32-inch Skyworth Plasma tv, 32-inch LG tv and a14 inch LED tv.

Other items are Hp Full set Desktop Computer, Dell full set Desktop Computer, 6 sets of brand-new hair barbing machines and 3 mobile phones namely Tecno and 1 itel.

Also recovered is a LG home theatre, 1 Real home theatre, 1 Philips home theatre, a Defy fridge, King spring mattress, Queen spring mattress and 2 Mountain bicycles.
