Facebook is the highest app that pays its creators .  Facebook monetization has become a popular way for content creators to earn money through their engaging and creative content. However, not all countries have access to Facebook’s monetization features. While many content creators in Nigeria  will be buying houses from Facebook money  from June , Cameroonians will either switch their location or move to an eligible country . 

Cameroon  is currently not approved for Facebook monetization despite the fact that her neighbor Nigeria will be eligible by June . The reasons for this can be attributed to the following factors:

Cameroon’s payment infrastructure is still developing, with limited access to international payment gateways. This can pose challenges for Facebook in implementing its monetization features in the country.Getting just a bank account and a functional prepaid card  is not even easy  .

4. Local Content and Language Support:

While Cameroon has a diverse linguistic landscape, the presence of local content creators on Facebook  is still limited. This could be another factor contributing to the absence of Facebook monetization in the country.

Facebook’s monetization approval process involves several criteria, including legal and regulatory compliance, market viability, payment infrastructure, and local content and language support. In the case of Cameroon, the absence of Facebook monetization can be attributed to a combination of these factors. As the country continues to develop its digital landscape, it is possible that Facebook may eventually approve Cameroon for monetization, allowing local content creators to benefit from the platform’s revenue-generating features .
