Living in a crowded compound had really dealt with me to the point that I lost my job and nothing is working out for me

As a male Mathematics Teacher,
I reside in one crowded compound in Port Harcourt. Like we are about 30 living in a compound and using only a single toilet. You can actually imagine what it looks like!
It is tiring and result-sinking that I lost my job.

One morning I was suppose to wake up as usual by 4am to ensure that I bath as early as 5am or before 5am but I woke up very late at around 6am. By them 20 of my neighbors are already lined up taking turns to use the bathroom and toilet likewise since it is a dual restroom.
It was around 8am that it got to my turn to bath and I was suppose to report to work at exactly 7:30am.

Before I could arrive my work place. The director has already instructed the secretary of the school where I work as an academics staff to issue me a query. The query was a serious one that I couldn’t survive it because the school refused to believe that I reside in a compound where 30 persons are living. Little did I wonder where they did expected that I recoup a huge some of money in renting an apartment in a decent place whereas my salary is second to nothing.

I am currently job hunting and I have a teaching experience of five years in MATHEMATICS.
I am hopeful that I will soon get a school to work with here in Port Harcourt.

In this life in whatever you are doing try to be good so that people will always talk about you and recommend you for good. The Nigerian woman has taken to her Facebook page to celebrate and praise her mother-in-law for being a mother-in-law to her. According to her post as shown below

“They said mother in-laws cannot live  peacefully with their daughter in-laws,well mine proved them wrong.

My MIL is one woman I know who doesn’t discriminate, she has loved us all equally over the years, she has shown me love just like my mother would.

She’s been my biggest supporter and inspiration,my retired but not tired colleague.

Sometimes when her son will not want to heed to some advice,I will just call her and tell her, trust me when I say she knows exactly what to do.

Our relationship is more like bestie relationship, hot gists and gossip here and there.

I know how safe my secrets are with you.

Mummy, thank you for always being there for me,thank you for giving me a shoulder to lean on,thank you for always walking with me in spirit. Thank you for being a loving, supportive and understanding woman.

On this day,I wish you nothing but good health as you age gracefully, you shall live to join me to shout Hallelujah when our joy is complete.

I love you Mummy.

Happy birthday MINE
Hap

Happy birthday Mummy Choice
Happy birthday Nana” she wrote.

This left next days with so many emotional reactions and wishing her a happy birthday for being a good mother-in-law

This is my 1year in marriage. I just gave birth last week Wednesday. My mother in-law came yesterday for omugwo. I asked my husband that I thought my mother is the person who is suppose to come for omugwo. My husband said his mom refused.

So when we were arguing about it. My mother in-law came into our room and state it outright to my face that my mom won’t come for any omugwo in this house. That her son won’t train me in University and my mum will still come and enjoy omugwo goodies. that where is my consience. Is the one her son did for me from my level 1 til NYSC isn’t enough. Still start up a business for me.

I appreciate the fact that my husband did all this for me which I didn’t take any for granted. I have never for one day disrespected mama or neither do we use to treat her bad. This is just my one year in marriage. How can I tell my mom she won’t be coming for omugwo of all my children. My husband loves his mother so much. He couldn’t even utter a word. Though he is not a talking type. Honestly this is shameful to me.

How will my parents feel. I’m the only girl and my mother has been waiting for this for long. My mother already entered market and bought things she will be coming for omugwo with.
