” My father passed on after I got admission into the university leaving me, my brother and my mom to fend for ourselves. We were literally stranded because it’s something we didn’t see coming at all.
It shattered my emotional balance, my composure and all but somehow I just kept going. I had amazing friends in school who helped me shake it off emotionally. I became stranded financially, couldn’t even afford to pay hostel fee.
I was squatting with one of my relatives who at some point started treating me badly but because I had no other place to go, I had to endure until she graduated and I became stranded again.
One of my course mates took me in and I started squatting with her. I started thinking of a business to do so I could start earning money. After days of brainstorming, I decided to start house cleaning and errand services.
I talked to some of my friends about it and few of them didn’t buy the idea. Some cajoled me by calling me errand girl but I drew strength from those that encouraged me.
I decided on a brand name, prayed earnestly about it, started attending free business seminars that would guide me. I bought a mop stick, broom, parker and bucket. My friend helped me design a flier and I started posting it online.
I got a lot of encouraging comments from those that saw my post and it fueled me more to do it. I told my pastor’s wife about it and she prayed for me and even got me my first client!
I was so happy to earn my first pay from my own brand even though it was a little sum but it meant so much to me. I remained consistent with my online presence and announcing my new brand.
I got a lot of reposts from my friends, course mates, church members etc and gradually, the bigger picture started becoming clear. I began earning more money, I got more of returning clients and even they started recommending me to others.
I also started volunteering at events and just like little drops of water, it began to turn to an ocean. I was able to cater for my basic needs, my mom was supportive as well. I got a hostel and splitted the rent with my roommate.
I saved up a lot of money and started buying cleaning equipments one by one. My cleaning brand became a household name in my area and I got more connections. I also had mentors who are into industrial cleaning and I learnt a lot from them.
Cleaning has taken me to over 8 states in Nigeria that I’ve never been to. I’ve gotten clients in diaspora who trusted me to handle their post construction cleaning because I came recommended.
I’m now a graduate, preparing for NYSC and I’m footing all my bills responsibly without indulging in any wrong path. I have my team members who work for me and get paid. I also added sales of cleaning equipments to my services and I’m making cool money from it.
I won a car gift for my business last year courtesy of a great philanthropist on Facebook and it still feels like a dream that I now own a car, have staffs that I pay and being able to take care of myself and my family.
I’ve experienced a lot of challenges in this line of my business as well but I’m happy I never gave up. I’m also grateful for my friends who encouraged me, my mentors, my spiritual parents etc. I feel fulfilled and proud of myself, I’m sure my dad would also be proud of me as well.”

Before i left, i decided to visit some uncles & old friends & gifts them. I was running late but, Mama insisted on praying for me before i leave. Before i left, I made sure my mother’s health was good & everyone was happy. i was very fulfilled & satisfied with the vacation. But on my way back to Town, something Terrible happened. – the back tires of our vehicle suddenly came off! We almost had a terrible accident, But by God’s grace, the driver managed to control the vehicle so it doesn’t run to the other side of the bush were there exist a very deep valley. We all survived even though, a few people got injured. No one died.
I want to thank God for this miracle. I’m the only child of my Mother. I keep imagining what if something bad had happened to me!? Who will take care of my poor old mom especially now that she needs me the most!? After taking care of me all this years & just the time for her to start enjoying the fruits of her labor but instead she would have gotten news that I’m no more

So, in an attempt to help his girlfriend pass the course, he prepared for that day, plaited his hair, dressed & disguised himself like a female & sat for the exams. But unfortunately for him, one of the lecturers noticed that his chest was too flat for a woman & approached him, touched his chest & felt that it was too bony.
The police was alerted & he got caught. But the most unfortunate thing is that while he was in jail serving a jail term for the crime, the lady never visited him not even for once. But instead, she got married to the love of her life just 6 months later after the incident.
