Abosede Aloba, the mother of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has shared some insights into her experiences since her son’s passing.
In an interview with Punch newspapers, the elderly woman revealed that she frequently sees her late son and notices him in a state of sadness.
She recounted how Mohbad had promised to fight for himself, to which she responded by expressing her exhaustion and allowing him to proceed.
Abosede Aloba’s interview sheds light on the ongoing struggles she faces following her son’s death.
She appeals to Nigerians for assistance in burying her son, citing her overwhelming exhaustion and the curses directed at her by many individuals, which have added to her anguish.
Furthermore, Aloba expresses her disappointment with her brother Darosa, who served as Mohbad’s assistant, noting his lack of communication with her since the singer’s demise. She urges him to come forward and share any information he may have regarding her son’s untimely death.
Previously, Mohbad’s mother had publicly cursed her son’s killers, likening their fate to that of Judas Iscariot.
She said:
“I think about my child every day and I see him like a human being sometimes when I look back. He would bow his head down. He came to meet me three days ago and told me he would fight. I am tired of the curses. Though I am not afraid because I have done nothing, They cursed my mother who did not know anything about the case. They have cursed my brother Darosa too.”

A medical doctor, identified on Twitter as Dr Pharouk, has created a stir online with his advice to women using singer Kizz Daniel and his wife as case studies.
In a lengthy Twitter post, he shared a story Kizz Daniel made in the past while talking about his wife, who he revealed believed in him when he started his music career. The singer disclosed that his wife would bring food for him when he spent hours in the studio and was mocked by her friends who claimed he couldn’t sing.
Kizz Daniel stated that his wife and his brother stood by him and were the only ones liking his posts, and she was the one who paid for his first song, which was N10,000.
Using his story as a case study, Dr Pharouk stated that men are grateful people as there is nothing one would do for them that they will forget completely. He avowed that men will always be there for women who stood by them and respected them at their low moments.
He admonished ladies to show their struggling boyfriends.

Popular skit maker, Sabinus reminds Nigerians that it’s naira they shouldn’t spray as he begs them to spray perfume while recounting an unpleasant experience after hugging a fan.
The content creator took to social media to raise an alarm as he claimed that a lot of Nigerians are no longer spraying perfume.
He reminded them that what the government said was they shouldn’t spray naira notes, however, some have taken it upon themselves not to also spray perfume.
