Her name is Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturuocha popularly known as Rita Dominic, a veteran Nigerian actress, model, producer, television personality, investor and philanthropist.
Rita Dominic was born on July 12, 1975 in Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. She is currently 48 years old. She is the youngest child in a family of four children.
Rita Dominic hails from Mbaise, Imo State. She is a member of the Royal family of Nwaturuocha of Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo State. Her late parents were medical practitioners. Her late father was a medical doctor while her late mother was a nursing officer.
Rita Dominic attended her primary school education in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State in the south southern part of Nigeria and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. She thereafter proceeded to Federal Government College in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State for her secondary school education and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing her secondary school education, Rita Dominic proceeded to University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts in 1999 at age 24.
In 1998, Rita Dominic joined the Nigerian movie industry and acted in her first movie titled “A Time to Kíll”, a movie that brought her to limelight.
Due to her outstanding performance in ‘A Time To Kíll’, she has earned several movie roles for herself in the movie industry acting alongside prominent A-list Nollywood actors and actresses like Pete Edochie, Olu Jacobs, Segun Arinze, Stella Damasus, Desmond Elliot, Joke Silva, Richard Mofe Damijo, to name a few.
In 2011, she received a national honor by the Nigerian federal government as Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) being the highest honor and an award given to a celebrity in Nigeria who has contributed immensely to the economy growth and development of the country through entertainment.
Rita Dominic is very beautiful, gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. She knows how to interpret her roles very well and can fit in any character given to her by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.
She is one of the highest paid actress in Nigeria. She is always known for featuring in romantic, sorrowful and action thriller movies.
Rita Dominic has been in the Nigerian movie industry for 25 years. She always plays the role of a romantic wife, girlfriend, royal princess, palace maid and orphan.
In October 2023, the award-winning actress took over the administration of the Miss Nigeria Organisation after 16 years of it being ran by Folio Communications.
Rita Dominic is also a philanthropist. She established her charity and nongovernmental organization to assist the poor and less privilege and also to give back to the society for their support in her career.
On April 19, 2022, Rita Dominic got married to her heart-throb Mr. Fidelis Anosike, a Nigerian entrepreneur and current owner of the biggest and most reliable newspapers in the country, The Daily Times Nigeria. They did their traditional wedding in Mbaise, Imo State, her hometown and in November 2022, they had their white/church wedding in England, UK.

Netizens blasts medical doctor as he uses Kizz Daniel and his wife as case study to advise women
A medical doctor, identified on Twitter as Dr Pharouk, has created a stir online with his advice to women using singer Kizz Daniel and his wife as case studies.
In a lengthy Twitter post, he shared a story Kizz Daniel made in the past while talking about his wife, who he revealed believed in him when he started his music career. The singer disclosed that his wife would bring food for him when he spent hours in the studio and was mocked by her friends who claimed he couldn’t sing.
Kizz Daniel stated that his wife and his brother stood by him and were the only ones liking his posts, and she was the one who paid for his first song, which was N10,000.
Using his story as a case study, Dr Pharouk stated that men are grateful people as there is nothing one would do for them that they will forget completely. He avowed that men will always be there for women who stood by them and respected them at their low moments.
He admonished ladies to show their struggling boyfriends.

Sabinus vents following unpleasant experience after hugging a fan
Popular skit maker, Sabinus reminds Nigerians that it’s naira they shouldn’t spray as he begs them to spray perfume while recounting an unpleasant experience after hugging a fan.
The content creator took to social media to raise an alarm as he claimed that a lot of Nigerians are no longer spraying perfume.
He reminded them that what the government said was they shouldn’t spray naira notes, however, some have taken it upon themselves not to also spray perfume.
Sabinus recalled how a fan hugged him and the smell oozing from the armpit was too much for him to bear.
The comedian begged folks to get roll-on, and body spray to help reduce the bad smell from their body.
