” 12 good years of marriage, no child, i felt left out. People made a m0ckery of i & my wife, we couldn’t even give an opinion in any social gathering,
Without being reminded of our situation. Even our neighbors will find every slight opportunity to m0ck us. Some, even asked their kids not to come around us nor run errands for us anymore.

My wife sffered & went through so much depression over this issue, especially from the hands of my family whom dsperately wanted kids from her. In my own side, i was so pressurized by my family members into taking another wife, reason being that; my wife was left with just 3 years that time to attend menopause.

Months later, God finally answered our prayers, my wife was confirmed pregnant with twins. she gave birth to 2 boys & just 2years later, she took in again & this time it was triplets, 3 girls in which I’m so fun off. We used to beg & ask God, if he could give us even 1 child but, he gave us 5 children in a space of just 3years.

My second wife hasn’t been able to give me a child yet, i wish i waited just a little longer. I’ve  come to realize that, God’s time is best
Pls join me thank God for this bundles of joy”

My wife has refused my mom coming to live with us ever since we got married, and I don’t want to hurt my wife

“My wife has refused my mom coming to live with us ever since we got married, & I don’t want to hurt my wife;
I love her so much. I’m 41 years old, married 8 months ago. I understand that we are a newly married couple & we need space, but then, I’m the only child of my mom. Lost my dad at age 4, Mom raised me as a single parent. And today I’m a very successful man..

Actually, Momma used to be active; I used to go to the village & visit her, but now she is no longer as strong as she used to be. I feel she should be close to me so I can keep a close watch on her diet, health & be in a better position to take proper care of her. But the issue is, my wife is 4 months pregnant & has completely refused that I bring my mom to live with us in the same house..

I really don’t understand because her own mom visits us on a weekly basis, & I’m always good to her, but my own mom isn’t allowed to stay with us. Whenever I try asking why that is, she’ll say she needs space to enjoy her marriage. Honestly, I love my wife just so much, & she loves me too; I’ll practically do anything for her.

My wife, is such a sweet woman, & I really don’t want her to feel hurt, especially now that she’s carrying my first child. I fear something might go wrong. Please help me; I need your advice and guidance concerning this issue.”

Cultist killed Over 10 People in Anambra During A cult Clash

It was a festival of blood on Sunday in Nibo community and Nodu-Okpuno Village, both in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, when no fewer than 13 persons were killed in separate cult-related clashes across various sections of the communities.

Our Metro source gathered that the killings started when violence erupted and escalated round the community during the community’s New Yam Festival tagged, ‘Nibo Onwa Asaa festival’, taking place on Sunday.

An eyewitness in the community, Matthias Ugwoke, told our correspondent that the violence started when members of a rival cult group stormed a drinking bar where another suspected rival cult group was relaxing and immediately opened fire on them, killing about eight instantly.

The joint was said to be near Oye Nwochichi Market, by Nibo Old Maternity, not far from the venue of the New Yam festival.

This was further corroborated by a very gory video currently circulating on social media showing many dead lifeless bodies lying across various areas of the community.

A source who craved anonymity for fear of victimisation, said, “The hoodlums, numbering about five, stormed the bar in a brown coloured Lexus 300 Jeep and immediately opened fire on the people there, killing about eight people instantly.

“After carrying out their operation, they immediately zoomed off to Eke Nibo Market, where they also gunned down about five more people.

“Nibo is on fire. Several lifeless bodies have littered the roads. Some people were killed by stray bullets while some sustained varying degrees of injuries.

“The violence escalated this afternoon during the ‘Nibo Onwa Asaa’ festival and claimed other multiple casualties. We have counted over 13 dead bodies at various points of the road.”

He said everybody was running helter-skelter as gunshots were sounding everywhere, causing panic and chaos.

Also, in a separate incident, three persons were feared dead after gunmen, also suspected to be cultists, opened fire at Nodu Village, Okpuno, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

When our correspondent visited the Nibo community, which is not far from the Governor’s Lodge, at about 5:36 pm, he observed that everywhere was almost like a ghost town as people remained indoors.

The traders who were getting ready for business during the festival were seen hurriedly leaving the scene with their wares as some foods and drinks, that would be used for the festival littered the premises of the venue.

Confirming the developments when contacted on Sunday, the Anambra State Police Command Spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, called on witnesses to volunteer information for necessary action.

Ikenga, however, could not ascertain the actual casualty figure but added that police operatives had been deployed in the area.

He said, “The command is aware of a suspected cult-related clash today 20/10/2024 in Nibo, Awka South LGA. The Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Obono Itam, has ordered immediate deployment of additional operatives to the area for necessary action.

“Preliminary reports of the incidents are still sketchy as the command calls on the witnesses of this incident to volunteer information that will help to identify the perpetrators for possible arrest.

“Rest assured information sent in this regard shall be treated with utmost confidentiality. You can call the Command Control Room at *07039194332* or the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) at 08039334002.

“Further development shall be communicated, please.”

Mother forces Daughter into prostitution in Delta state

Emmanuella, who claims to be in Senior Secondary School 2 at Triumphant School, Effurun, in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, has alleged that her biological mother had contracted her to unnamed men to take sexual advantage of her.

The 15-year-old school girl in Delta State, Emmanuella Monday,  cried out for help from her hideout, after escaping from a man who her mother allegedly gave her to, urging relevant authorities to rescue her from her ‘abusive’ mother who she accused of allegedly trying to force her into child prostitution in exchange for money.

This was contained in a video sighted by our correspondent in Warri where the girl specifically stated that her mother took her to meet a man in a hotel on Sunday and thereafter eloped after dropping her off with the man.

Emmanuella said, “My mother has been taking me to men. And last Sunday, after church, she took me to meet a man in a hotel.  She left and said that she was coming back. She did not come back till the evening, and left me there.”

Emmanuella told our Metro source that her mother took her to one Beeland Hotel at Orhuworun Road, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State “to meet an Aboki man and said she was coming back, and till it was late, she didn’t return.”

The girl informed our  Metro news source that she however “managed to escape from the hotel room, when the Aboki man went to have a bath.”

But she deposed that she consequently became infuriated and refused to go back to the house.

She added, “So, on getting out of the hotel room, I did not go to the house again. I managed to find my way to a friend’s house and stayed with that family overnight. On Monday morning, I went to school and reported the matter to my teacher. And my teacher said she was going to do something about the matter.”

Emmanuella added, “This is not the first time my mother is taking me out to go and meet different men. And she is always concerned about me and marriage.”

When contacted on the phone, Emmanuella’s mother, Mrs. Eunice Asulie, told our correspondent that her daughter had been missing from home, adding that she had “been searching for her.”

She said, “My daughter, Emmanuella, has been missing for days and I have been searching for her everywhere and could not find her.  I don’t know her whereabouts. I am looking for her.”

Speaking further, the mother stated that she had reported the matter to the police at the division close to them and the police were also searching for her.

The proprietress of Triumphant Schools, Mrs Magareth  Oghuvwu, explained how Emmanuella got to school on Monday amidst sobs, narrating her ordeals in the hands of her own mother who, she said, wanted to force her into prostitution.
