As President, Tinubu is by far better than Buhari. There is absolutely no basis for making such comparisons – Reno Omokri praises Tinubu

As President, Tinubu is by far better than Buhari. There is absolutely no basis for making such comparisons. The short-term pains we are going through as a nation are occurring because Buhari did not have the courage to remove fuel subsidy and float the Naira. We simply could not afford it. And the man was borrowing from foreigners, in your name and mine, to sustain these two wasteful schemes. And you want Tinubu to continue that bambiala style of governance?

Fuel importation into Nigeria is down by 53%, and local refining is up by 8%. Capital importation is also up by 66%. The Gencos have been privatised. States can now do what Abia did with Geometric Power and collaborate with the private sector to provide electricity. In Europe, the UK and the U.S., the private sector provides power. Their governments only provide an enabling environment. Please fact-check me.

I am passionate about Nigeria. I am convinced we need reforms. And whoever can give us those reforms has my support, whether it is Tinubu, Waziri Atiku, or Peter Obi. For now, Tinubu is doing what he promised to do. Which is also what other major candidates, except Kwankwaso, promised. Implement the Orosanye Report, lay the groundwork for State Police, and be fair to all zones in appointments.

Let us not speak out our frustrations, or be tied to our history. We need to be tied to our potential. Buhari is Egypt. Nigeria must never return to Egypt!

‘Why I love Bobrisky’ – Tolani Baj

Big Brother Naija reality star and disc jockey, Tolani Baj, has expressed her admiration for embattled cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky.

She said she loves Bobrisky because he chooses whatever gender he wants to play at any point in time.

The reality star spoke in the teaser of the upcoming episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, co-hosted by her and actress Moet Abebe.

“This is why I love Bobrisky, right? Bobrisky wakes up and plays a character; he, she, baby, whatever pronoun he likes,” she said.

Bobrisky, a self-proclaimed transwoman, admitted to being a man in court on Friday during his sentence for naira abuse and mutilation.
