Canadian Senate commends Burna Boy after selling out The Bell Centre twice

The Canadian Senate has praised the accomplishments of Afrobeat sensation Burna Boy and acknowledged the positive impact he has had in their country.

Marcel Lebleu, Director General of the West and Central Africa Bureau, highlighted Burna Boy’s achievements, noting that the artist performed twice at The Bell Centre, a venue with a capacity of 35,000 people, and sold out both shows in Montreal, Canada.

Lebleu also lamented the insufficient recognition given to the cultural and Nollywood industries in Canada.
