Truth Behind Pastor Abel Damina’s Critique of Religious Manipulation By Pastor E.A Adeboye

The recent exchange between Pastor Abel Damina and Pastor Adeboye has sparked widespread debate and introspection. The controversy arose when Pastor Adeboye disclosed that he sat with God and shared tea, prompting Pastor Damina to call for an end to what he perceives as lies and religious manipulation.

The statement by Pastor Damina underscores a deeper concern within religious communities regarding the authenticity of divine encounters and the potential for manipulation. While the concept of communing with the divine is central to many faiths, the manner in which such experiences are portrayed and utilized raises important questions about transparency and accountability.

At the heart of Pastor Damina’s critique is the notion that claims of intimate encounters with God can be used to exert influence and control over followers. Such assertions, he argues, can create an atmosphere of unquestioning obedience, where individuals are encouraged to accept without scrutiny the words and actions of religious leaders.

In addition, Pastor Damina’s call for transparency urges believers to engage critically with the messages they receive, rather than blindly accepting them as absolute truth. In an era marked by the proliferation of information and diverse perspectives, he emphasizes the importance of discernment and independent thinking within religious communities.

It is essential to recognize that Pastor Damina’s critique is not an attack on faith itself but rather a plea for integrity and honesty within religious leadership. By encouraging a culture of accountability and transparency, he seeks to foster genuine spiritual growth and empowerment among believers.

The exchange between Pastor Abel Damina and Pastor Adeboye serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of authenticity and transparency within religious discourse.

As individuals navigate their spiritual journeys, it is important to approach claims of divine encounters with discernment and critical reflection, ensuring that faith remains a source of enlightenment and empowerment rather than manipulation and control.

In 2019 I divorced my wife, and we agreed to care for the kids together. I moved out, and she moved back to Oklahoma.
Every time I visit them, she will invite me to the bedroom, and we will make love. She will cook and be very nice to me. She is not dating anybody, but I already have a girlfriend.

I recently find myself visiting them three times a month instead of the three times a year we planned for before.

Last week I asked her to marry me again, and she said no. That got me so mad and pissed off.
What’s all the cooking and being nice all about?

“So my husband demanded that I take permission from him before anyone from my family visits our home.
In which i accepted. For the past four years I’ve made sure that i respect my husband’s decision, non of my relative have visited.
My mom alerted me that she will visit us this month end and I kept asking her when, so I could at discuss it with my husband, but she didn’t say anything about the particular day nor time that she will come

Three days ago, she came from the village unannounced, This is actually her first time of visiting my house since I got married, Even though she wanted to come on many occasions, but because of how hubby regards my family as low life, I told her to forget about coming that I’m fine, in order to avoid issues, Now she’s come unannounced. Am not happy. For  3 days now, hubby has not said a word to either my mom or myself and has started avoiding me, I’ve been begging my husband, even told my mom to go back to the village until the atmosphere is calm Besides, i don’t have a new born baby in the house, so what’s the point of having her around now especially where she’s not wanted. Hubby has refused my food, he now sleeps in the guest room and goes out very early.

My home is about to be shattered because of my mom. I have told her I will never forgive her if anything happens to my marriage. I am comfortable the way I am. I take my mother-in-law as my mother, so if my mom doesn’t visit, it’s no big deal, my mother inlaw comes often and I have no issue with that. I believe i van always visit mom in the village like I’ve been doing but she’s inconsiderate about this, she wants to enjoy a new environment not minding if she’s welcome or not.

Since yesterday I stopped talking to her, just so she can leave. I don’t want to be harsh with her, please, how do I persuade her to leave pls, I don’t want any problem in my house..

Please advise me on this.. what should i do about this situation my marriage is still young..”
