A cousin of mine visited us in Lagos in and when he wanted to return to his base,my younger brother of 8 years old said he wanted to follow him, he cried bitterly. We let him go, believing that in few weeks, he will return but it wasn’t so. He said he’d like to live with them.

My cousin’s parents are very rich so I guess it’s the comfort that he loved. He was put in the best school in benin city. We always check on him and he calls us often.

Many years later, he said he wanted to return home. He was 17years at that time. My dad refused because his businesses had gone down the drain, he felt his sister will keep caring for his son.

My mum kept telling my dad that this boy that is calling that he wants to return home, he has to be brought back because the call was consistent. They quarreled but my mum stood her ground and brought him home.

Here is what happened. My cousins are far older than us so they are either at work or place of business while my aunt and her husband whom we call chief are in their place of business so they leave my brother at home alone, he now became wayward as no guidance…After school, he will roam round the streets of benin so my aunt,uncle and cousins found out and started beating him with other punishments so it is the reason he wanted to return home.

Hmm, when he returned…My brother was something else, he showed us pepper. He behaved differently from us. We enrolled him in a good secondary school, he took knife to fight someone and got expelled. He had so many terrible behaviors that was different from ours.

My parents have started getting old and can’t do much so it became a duty for me as the first child.

Luckily, I am a professional teacher so I used different methods in scolding and I found out the problem was that he didn’t understand why the way we live is different from my aunt in benin.

To cut the long story short, I thank God that he has become a far better person,he doesn’t disturb anymore.

I want to seize this opportunity to advise parents to never allow their kids live with anyone.

If it is garri you have, drink it like that. I know what we suffered, the days I had to call soldiers to beat him because of his troubles.

Oh my God!!
After feeding my baby then i left him for a few minute to wash his dirty cloths outside,
I don’t know how, but something kept telling me to check on my baby again, i ignored it twice until the bucket i was using suddenly fell off & i  went in to get some water so i could continue washing but saw this creature on the bed walking towards my baby.
I screamed, rushed in took my baby & then used a broom to do away with it immidiately,

Pls you people should help me thank this good God, what if i hadn’t gotten in on time and this thing bit my baby and left, i even wouldn’t have known what happened to him
This is my first baby after 6years of trying, pls, thank this great God for me, what he can not do does not exist,
